Failla
Estate Vineyard Fort Ross - Seaview Syrah
Right from the source, well at least the tasting room. New World Syrah as it should be

Jan 31st, 2015Crazy good companion to organic grass-fed T-bone medium rare steak. Preserved dark blue fruits, black cherry jam, black pepper. Fat and smooth. Medium acid. Plenty of life ahead.

Aug 21st, 2021Slightly cloudy. Olive, lavender, blackberry, gingersnap, deer blood, cracked black pepper, and cool saline breezes. Velvety tannins wrapping what is still massive fruit. Palette reminds you more of campfire than sea breezes. Absolutely perfect at this stage, with more years to give.

Apr 22nd, 2017So distinctly Failla! Always a fan. Great combination of the earth and grit of Syrah with the beautiful fruit that coats your palate.
