Perfect cork, this was impeccable and firing on all cylinders. A classic Chuy CH with its dense richness, subtle phenolic edge, and zesty acidity to back it all up. Tastes just like I remember but with the contours and details balancing and more in focus. Blown away by the mineral backbone here, distinctly North coast but very pronounced. I could drink this everyday.

Round and rich while still showing incredible restraint. Balanced with a rich fruit balanced with a core of minerality. Old vine chard!

This wine makes me think of everybody who has ever said, "I don't like chardonnay." Bright and complex, crisp and clean, nuances to spare, this wine will put a smile on your face. And when you're done smiling, which will be awhile, you'll nod a few times, say "yes," quietly to yourself, and then reach for the bottle. Maybe just one more splash.

Perfect for captain @Darren Schlissel. Chuy vineyard. Very clean and linear. Great stone fruit and acidity. One of the best California chardonnays had.

Just wow sometimes. This and the Haynes are the two best Chardonnay's from Ehren. Super complex.

Well made but a little boring (to me). Some light stone fruit and the oak is present on the palate

First of the summer wine? Lovely balanced Chardonnay with peach, pineapple with butter, vanilla flavours from the subtle oak. Could drink this as long as the sun is shining. Very good.
