This is a very good wine! I almost had buyers remorse as I didn’t read some of the reviews on here before buying. Well, what’s ya know; the reviews must have been on a bad day as this is a very good red blend right out of the bottle. And it’s excellent for just drinking or with food. Medium bodied with a nice, smooth mouthfeel and mild tannins. More berries than fruit on the palate and very smooth. The bourbon barrel aging is barely discernible and actually imparts a very slight sweet taste that enhances rather than distracts. Definitely a bargain at a BOGO sale.
