Aged in Stainless and for 3 months in Bourbon Barrels, a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Verdot & Cab Sauv. Aromas of fruit and sweet spice notes. On the palate sweet dark berry fruits with cacao and leather. Rustic tannins, lingering, ending with sweet character, smoky notes and a bit hot with alcohol. Not a fan of Bourbon Barrel aging and this one didn’t change my mind. Tasting Sample.

Strong and delicious fortified wine. Sweeter than expected, definitively needs to be aerated/allowed to breathe. Exactly as billed. No distinctive bourbon flavor.

Red blend for Christmas. Charred oak and blackberry to the nose which follows thru to the palate along with cherry and a touch of spice. Aged in bourbon barrels. A high alcohol content it definitely needs to breathe. Paired with prime rib.

Good, light flower, maybe better for early spring.

Strong burst of alcohol at first, almost all you get on the initial two sips. Settles down into something delicious. A blend of maple, vanilla, raisins, grape skins. Alcohol feel remains. Little to no tart or acidity, but not a smooth wine. It is bold and heavy from beginning to end. Bourbon concept is fun and works here, but not worth the premium price tag.
