They rebranded the bottle, so it looks a lot less tacky than it did previously. I figured, why not give it a go since it looks (somewhat) respectable.
I didn’t have high expectations for a sub $30 Willamette Valley Pinot… but there’s quite a bit going on here. Fruit… as expected, but a lot of earthy undertones. It’s like a barnyard with hay. And one of my favourite characteristics of Oregon Pinots… Cola.
After all this I noticed ‘By Sokol Blosser’ on the bottle… it all makes sense now.
