My friend brought this. Medium gold color. Nice weight. Reticent quiet nose at first. Doesn’t smell or taste like Chardonnay. Is it a white Rhône? After 3 hours in the glass this finally explodes out of the glass with notes of citrus, stones and spice. The acidity ramps up in a big way. Such a big wine. 94++. Give it 4-6 hours of air and it will reward you (assuming it avoided the POX, as this one did).

This is why I drink wine. Aside from Coche Dury, one of the best white wines I have had. '05 Rocks!
