Even concentration, medium density of brilliant violet. Intense floral perfume, honeysuckle, lilac, red currant, grape cola. Dry with Medium plus body, medium minus acid, medium plush tannin. High alcohol (14.5) contributes a peppery spice on the lips but little glycerol. Mouth filling aroma on the palate replicates the aromas in the nose. Very well balanced, excellent structure and flavor. High quality for $15. Not surprised at all to see Eric Solomon's name on the back label.
