Better vineyards in the blend and more details and restraints in the winemaking - Eric Morgat is definitely one of the benchmarks of Savennières

Focused, fresh(fresher than Richard Leroy 2012 last night), and delicious.

Dizzying textural tension between flesh and persistence. Fruit bounces between burnt orange, lemon oil and brûléed stone fruit. One to reach for.

Stunning Savennieres ! 2 years ageing in both vat and new oak...
Like a perfect breeding of Meursault and Savennieres

Straw and canned peaches on both the nose and the palate.

New to me. Solid producer solid wine. Compares to the better producers but maybe a little less well delineated. Needs a serious decant. I have it air for 4 days and it was better on day 2 than 1. Still good on day 4.

An amazingly complex wine. Almond, lime, acidic but not overly. Dry but full bodied.
