Light ruby/garnet color. Aromas of crushed red berries, dried violets, leather and earth. Flavors of red and black raspberries and cherries, mushrooms, baking spices and a bit of a medicinal quality. Medium-plus finish and bright acidity. Noticeable alcohol heat that did blow off with aeration. Well integrated tannins and solid balance. Pleasant mouth filling texture.
