Fruity spicy nose, black cherry & faint mint & spice taste, smooth and delicious BUT not quite as good as it was a year ago. If I had any 2009 left I'd be drinking it quickly.

Dark inky purple color, takes a few hours to open up which surprised me for a 2009. Blackberry on the nose, heat from alcohol on the palate that does fade leaving dark fruits including blackberry with a little sweetness and a minty peppery finish. Tannins are velvety though dry the mouth.
