Nice champagne style brut here, not common in Italy. Candied apple but toasty in the glass. Outside the glass it has a brightness, lots of character, medium dry, yeasty. Where it was candied apple on the nose it’s a dried apple flavor that prevails on the palate.

Not a Prosecco but not a champagne. Believe the DOGC requires it to be neither. But, very nice a yeasty on the nose. More like champagne than Prosecco it won a best value at a recent sparkling tasting.
