Medium lemon yellow . Touch smoky and honied on the nose , lemon tart , baked apple , ripe pear , and a steely element . Quite rich on the palate but with vibrant acidity and good backbone . Quite intense and with good length , well balanced alcohol . Lemon , pear , baked apple , honeysuckle with a creamy texture but saline , chalky finish . I would imagine that this can age quite well , another 5-10 years perhaps .

Best South African wine I've had so far from my limited experience with the country. Dry, but with lush texture, high acid, a hint of honey and bitter melon.

Gjort av en halvhektar stor vingård i avlägsna Montagu. Fruktens kvalité är påtaglig. Citron, javaäpple, gräs, kardemumma, fänkål. Bra rundhet i munnen. Fin lång limesyrlighet med mineral eftersmak.
