Gorgeous cool climate cab—seek this out if you want purity and restraint rather than opulence. It’s in a burg bottle which sums up the ethos pretty well. Black currant and red berries, liquid rocks and violets. Excited to see where the rest of these go

Red fruit seductively grabs your nose which in turn forces the glass to your mouth. Nice mixture of plums , cassis , red cherry and herbs. This was young and lacked complexity but all the ingredients are there and you can tell a few years sleeping will make this much more polished.

Super high quality restrained Cali cab. A little bottle variation - not as intense and aromatic as the last bottle I had but opened up over time. Fresh plum, good mineralogy, slight greenness but well integrated.

An astoundingly beautiful and elegant California Cab from cool climate Pinot territory. Aroma is high-toned with notes of fresh sweet flowers, crunchy red and black fruit, and minerals. Pyrazine is present from 25% whole clusters, but it contributes white fruit and floral notes rather than strong vegetal character. Only 10% new oak provides some structure, depth, and softens the tannins without obscuring the beautiful fruit quality and this wine’s sense of place. Crystalline acidity is vibrant from the first sip through the long finish. Tasted with winemaker John Lockwood.

Cool climate cab. Delicious. One bottle became two.

Bright and youthful, this is a mouthwatering cabernet. Far from the Napa heavyweights, this is seductive and nuanced, begging for food to balance the ample acidity. Good stuff but IMO no sipper.
