The 2013 Enfield Wine Co. Coryelle Fields Syrah is superb. Heady aromas of olives, sea brine, lavender, savory spices, smoked meats, and black pepper. Black pepper jumps out in the flavors, along with cola, dark fruit confit, a touch of mint and herbs de Provence, and more of the salinity. This needed thirty minutes to open up and it shines brilliantly!

Superb! Earthy and savory with some real stuffing to age well for another 10-12 years. John Lockwood crafted this sensation with hillside grapes growing 380 meters above the Pacific. Cool climate Syrah I want to drink a whole lot more often.

30m decant. I found this underwhelming. Nice fruit and olives on the nose. Salinity and light herbs with good structure on the palette. Paired nicely to roast duck. Just no surprise or wow.

Couple hours of decant. Round, rich fruit and a subtle case of herbs. I get some pears too. Palette is somewhat muted and dull. Looking fwd to pairing to burgers.

Wow. Raspberry fruits absolutely stunning. Would probably guess Carignan in a blind. Beautiful wine
