A stunning Crozes. Deep, dark nose, black fruited, granite, oozing, black cherry even cassis, also herbs and mid season black cherries. It’s loaded. Palate is so luxurious, fresh and deep. Sweet and ripe with incredible freshness and density yet retains stunning finesse. The purity is off the charts.

Nose: purplish. Graphite. Some lilacs peeking out. As it opens a bit more floral.

Palate is dark blackberry. Inky. Very delicious.

Not my style of syrah. I prefer brighter / less dark fruit. But this is an excellent example of what it is.

My god this is an amazing wine. Big nose of blueberry, blackberry, herbs de Provence, floral, lavender, granite, smells chewy and dense. Love it. Palate is deep, dark, ripe and juicy, with stunning fruit purity and density. But so fresh and so elegant. Lithe yet substantial. Amazing freshness and vigor. Meaty, olivey and super granitic aftertaste. Still could use a few years. But no harm opening now. Just insane and shows how great 15 is.

Notes of cigar, plum, cherrie. Rich but not very fruity. Amazing. Drank 2015 vintage.

Solid value for Northern Rhône Syrah with great typicity. A few rough edges due to youth so throw it in a decanter for a while, but already showing nice depth and complexity for the price point. Ripe and savory with a smoky, gamy funk.

- Color: medium/medium + concentration, ruby-violet hue
- Nose: fresh-picked and still-dirty ripe blackberry and raspberry, black plum, bacon fat, fresh violets, granite, and a slight bit of cracked black pepper, plus a touch of brett and VA but in a pleasant proportion that adds complexity rather than becoming a fault.
- Palate: ripe blackberry and raspberry, olive brine, granite, fresh violet, black pepper, and a bit of licorice root.
- Acid: medium/medium (+)
- RS: dry
- Tannin: fine grained, medium (+) intensity
- Alcohol: medium (+)/high, shows slightly but not distractingly hot
- Body: medium/medium (+), softly textured
