I've certainly never heard of this grape before but that is part for the course for the wines from this octogenarian. Very savory with some vegetal aspects, crushed roses and red berries. Mid to light weight, it's one for drinking in the near term to capture its fruit, especially as it hasn't seen oak so limited tertiary development likely.

A very soulful red. One of several made from super rare indiginous varieties rescued from extinction by Bulfon. This one has concentrated flavors of dried red cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate. It was only three years old but drank like a more mature wine. A great pleasure to drink! 100% Forgiarìn. 9/18/22.

Nice fruity acidic wine. Nothing amazing. But solid weekday wine.

This is really good. A little sour with espresso bitterness, but a cashmere mouthfeel and nice lingering finish. Not a ton of fruit, gives the aroma of an older wine despite being a youngish vintage.

From a client that moved here from Italy. The taste fades on your tongue like a shooting star. Would not purchase with my own money

Gorgeous! Forgiarìn from Emilio Bulfon - light on the tounge and palette, but with nice easy drinking red fruit notes throughout. A great complement to a nice Ragu pasta meal!
