Incredible fruit, dark berries, chocolate long finish

This is showing beautifully. Good core of dark fruit with bright acidity. Tannins are soft - good time to be drinking this one, and a big improvement over the 2012 I had last month.

It was a strong cab, not very complex. Finishes well. Was quite good and may benefit with additional cellaring.

Spicy, hints of cherry, delightfully full

There is plenty of structure, but also a softening of the tannins. Beautiful core of cherries, acidity, and a long finish.

The deep garnet color is just what you'd expect at age 9, and the nose is full of mature red fruits and warm floral notes. The fruit is echoed on the palate and is joined by accents of sweet earth and green peppercorn. Medium bodied and bright on the back end. There's ample acidity and tannin here for at least several more years of fine drinking.

Celebrating my father in law as he finished his battle with pancreatic cancer. Sometimes there is the right wine at the right place with the right people. Even let the almost adult children on the action. Great celebration. This wine was feminine and full of black/ blue fruit. Thank you Merrill for your passion You exceeded expectations and delivered. Plenty of structure left but very enjoyable now

This is in the perfect place right now. Balance and heft with black cherry profile. Works for me.

Enjoyable on opening but revealed more with 60 min. in the decanter. Medium bodied but big on flavor.
