Deep Ruby with dark purple edges, with pronounced aromas of black and red fruits with blossom notes and meaty spice. On the palate blackberry and black plum flavors with notes of lavender, licorice and earthy tobacco. Vivid acidity with big firm tannins, well integrated and made to age, long finish ending with weighty fruit and spice character. Very Nice!

Deep purplish ruby red. A little savory on the nose, almost like olives, some herbs and black cherries. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus body. Layered palate with notes of dark berries, savory spices, river rocks, cocoa and espresso. Long finish. Drink till 2028.

Fruit all comes from the York Creek Vineyard up in Spring Mountain. This is made up of 80% Petite Sirah, 11% Zinfandel and 9% Carignane. Aged for 10 months in 40% new American oak. Only 1,032 cases produced.

Nose of ripe plum, blackberry, blueberry, black pepper, cinnamon, and subtle tobacco. Good fruit concentration and intensity on the palate. Full body with cool acidity and velvety tannins.
Was thinking about the a Zin to pair with the burger, but this turns out to be just fabulous.

This is from Spring Mountain of Napa Valley. Opulent dark fruit core without being too jammy. The full body is well toned, with savory soft palate and silky tannins.
