My last bottle of the amazing 2010. And it has aged beautifully, and slowly. Still showing intense blackberry fruit, intense brambly character, smoky gravel. Balanced and intense in the mouth, the youthful fruit still hits immediately but quickly transitions to a drier and tertiary set of flavors, with evocations of library books, furniture, leather. Remarkable.

Mar 14th, 2016Powerful and polished. Intense nose of concentrated cherry liqueur, brambly notes, gravel, and a whiff of maple syrup. Vigorous flavors of dark, ripe cherry and pure dark minerals. Very full, but with lip-smacking acidity. Very athletic wine. Love this!

This wine keeps getting better and better. Deep purple. Initial aromas of plum, dried apricot. With air and time open, it blooms into a wonderfully floral, juicy, red fruited elegant thing.

Ripe cherries and cranberries. Not a lot of backbone but long fruit finish. Tannins are pretty much tame at this point
