Drinking really well. Sweet cherry, rose petals, crushed limestone minerality (not sure where that came from). Pure and on the leaner side, with nice flavor concentration and nice bright acids. Lengthy finish with some assertive but soft tannins. Nice wine to cut through rich food.

May 8th, 2022A decent budget Barolo. Light-ish color. Nose is a bit astringent with some scorched earth, a bit of bitter cherry, lots of pungent crushed rock. Austere and aggressive in the mouth. Lots of crushed rock minerality, again some straightforward tart wild cherry, with a fairly loud bitter component. Needs food.
