A wonderful "starting to get" mature Barolo, decanted for almost one hour, tannins are rounder than few years back and well integrated, a pleasure to drink, a full and deep Barolo with character, an expressive wine made of Nebbiolo - Honest expressions of the terroir of Monforte d'Alba, which generally produces a bigger, more tannic style of Barolo than those from La Morra or Barolo itself.

1997 vintage was absolutely spectacular. Bold, berries. It hasn’t faded at all. Super Smooth. One of the best years
