Underwhelming. Super tight, grippy Barolo that refused to opened up. I was intrigued by the story of this winery - the renegade son disowned by his father for making big changes - but the wine didn’t quite live up to the promise. Like that college “friend” who takes himself a little too seriously, maybe all this wine needs is another decade to loosen up.
