Big and quite bright. High acid and tannins, similar to the other Altare varieties. Needs some time and air. Packs a punch.

Perfect with hour decant. Brambly, tarry and some campfire smoke. Leathery and dark, slightly tart cherry fruit with fine drying tannins. In a perfect place but at least 5 years to peak.
