Classic Barolo fr a modern producer. Lots of fruit. Red berries, roses. Nice integrated oak w/ a smoaky character. Medium plus alcohol.

Silky tannins. Obvious oak, but on 2nd tasting, fruit much more forward than oak. Very dense, classic Nebbiolo flavors, raspberry, cranberry, violets, savory too, lots of length. Having tried both old and new school, I love the purity of fruit and flavor from big botte, but this is also clearly well made, almost like good burgundy vs good Bordeaux.
