This chard, as @Mark Flesher put it, is very much down the middle of the road. Not pure fruit, not pure buttery oak. A nice compromise. Notes of honeysuckle, kiwi, watermelon rind. Light bodied. Crisp.

I personally appreciate this style of Chardonnay that I refer to as @Toast, without Butter." Medium bodied, very elegant and pleasant citrus notes on the finish which make this Oaked wine very refreshing.

Dutton Ranch Chard. Loads of golden apple/pear/lemon, but also a little bit of tangerine/pineapple. Hints of honey and vanilla give it a really smooth lift. Delightfully well-balanced and rich in texture too. Full disclosure: I work here, but didn't make this vintage.
