Finger Lakes Syrah

Fresh blackberries, bubblegum, spice, cedar. Faint hint of Bret on the end. Is that possible in NY or my imagination? Bright acidity, nice tannins though focused on center of mouth and front. Medium finish. Really quite enjoyable. By the glass, photo is someone else’s 2011.

Nice balance, peppery and raspberry

First Finger Lakes Syrah I’ve tried. Restrained. Opened some with decanting.

Cherry, Vanilla and light oak on the nose. Big fruit and mild tannins. Well balanced! Better than I was expecting from an FLX Syrah. Easy drinker!
