Mendoza Malbec

Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of black plum, black cherry, black olive, toast, cocoa; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium plus intensity flavors, much jammier than aromas; very rich and fruit forward

Blended with 10% Cabernet Franc and aged in large oak casts for 15 months. Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits, floral and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and ripe cherry with notes of floral citrus, black pepper and smoky oak. Fine tannins, long elegant finish ending with fruit, oak and mineral spice. Nice!

Vintage 2017 | Warm comforting, plums and red fruit, some chocolate. Very fine bottle that gives a lot of joy.

Lovely. Blueberries, blackberries, hickory, maple, bacon fat, hints of chocolate. Maintains a balanced acidity and fine granular tannins. I love it. Much better than many Napa Cabernets which cost 2x or 3x the price. #malbec #mendoza #argentina

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, black currant, violets and baking spices. Strong black fruit- amazing body- cloves, pepper and smoke.

We had to step it up for tonight. With a Malbec from El Enemigo. Fantastic. Dense drippings of marionberry and plum. An ‘asada’ at Matias.
