Light aromatics with medium body. Not a whole lot of tannins but that is to be expected. Good wine to enjoy with food. Had halibut with a creamy bernaise sauce but it went even better with the chocolate lava cake!

Very tasty. Light fruits with vanilla , oaky overtones. Had 2012 in December of 2016. Definitely buy again.

Very complex dry red. Smoky notes with some dark cherry and chocolate. Oak on the finish is very nice. Good value!

Being 100% Tempranillo grapes, I figured this Rioja would pack more spice but alas, 'twas not to be for me and my selections this evening. It's got mild spice, tobacco, and leather, but if I enjoyed mild, I would've stuck with my ex. It's only after immense but subtle pressure from my wine buddies that I'm even leaving Italy for these lesser regions. Unfortunately, I'm significantly invested in this world tour as is so I hope my next stop proves more flavorful and exciting. #NoQbutplentyofPR
