Wine bought at the Ehret testing room in Healdsburg. We had the 2018 vintage for father’s day 2023. We enjoyed it paired with grilled lambshops and fresh spinash.

This was a really excellent Cabernet choice at a reasonable price in a restaurant. It’s about 80% Cab Sauv and 20% Cab Franc. A really nice blend that has the cassis and fresh raspberry flavors of Sauv with some raisin and bramble from the Franc, or anyway that’s the mix of flavors it brings. The tannins are perfectly integrated and this was a good accompaniment to the array of small dishes we got at this relatively new East Dallas restaurant. The rest of their wine list looks good too.

Not much nose to this one but if you air it out a bit, wow! Smooth and perfect for drinking now. Bouquets of cherry and just the right slight hint of oak. Oh so good for daily drinking with cheese and some snacks.

Big black and red fruit tempered by a ton of herbs. Sage, rosemary, eucalyptus, and mint. Bing cherries and fernet? Wonderfully complex wine for a small price tag!!

Not a bad wine for an '09 Sonoma vintage. However, it's just a little too acidic for me, personally.
