Heather on the nose. Thick red fruit on the front. Medium tannic structure held together by high notes. Astringent finish that fades fast. I Never had the Lagrein Gries varietal before. Seems like it would blend well with a grape that had a more complex tannic structure. Not a bad wine, but kind of one-dimensional.

Meaty red fruit, masculine finish, but not overly peppery or astringent. Pair with hard cheeses an cured meats. I'm excited to have this one on the shelves.
