This was nice, but after it sat for a while it got very sweet and metallic. Drink in one sitting (with a friend maybe?)

Good, but we should have rested it an additional 2 more years.

Medicinal . Too heavy and never opened up . No staying power, once opened use it or lose it . Not a keeper.

A bit like band-aids but may mellow once open.

Made from new oak. A lot of vanillin. Creme brûlée smell because it's made from burnt wood (like most new oak battles are but the lighter burn the more vanillin). Tastes furry and beastly. Very tannic.

Not a bad merlot. Good balance, not too dry.
