Aromas of Spice Pepper Cherry and Mineral (Ironstone soils). Medium to full bodied with an elegant tannin structure. Lacking the ripe fruit flavours of a Barossa Shiraz because of its cool climate continental origins. From Gundagai in Southern NSW near the Canberra District.

Feb 27th, 2019Won the Trophy for Best Shiraz at the National Wine Show 2012. Fruit from the Gundagai region and starting to put this region on the map. Peppery red fruits and starting to develop some leather notes at 7 years. A nice counterpoint to the lush Barossa styles showing the versatility of Shiraz.
