Tried the ‘15 again, got worse, time did not help, rather time was the wine’s enemy. Straw yellow with heavy oily aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Flavors of apple and melon with citrus and heavy oak. Not crisp as it should be, medium finish ending with harsh spice, off balance. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Feb 16th, 2017Pale yellow hue. Aromas of apple, butterscotch, citrus, cream, peach, pear. Medium body and medium-plus acidity. Slightly oaky but rather well-balanced for a value pick. (Tasted in 2019.)
