Les Collines Vineyard Syrah

All concrete-y transparency for bright true flavors.

Fairly restrained for Washington. Medium bodied and has that Syrah savory bass note. Fruit kinda stewy. Long. Walla Walla. Pair with strippers and blow.

Still hard to believe this is a Syrah! Feel like this is a combination of a Pinot, Merlot and maybe Syrah. Very limited pepper in this with tons of fruit-forward flavors. Highly recommend this and if you ever get to hear Doug Frost in person recommending this wine it is well worth it.

Had the opportunity to see Doug Frost display and taste this wine. Excellent speaker and superb wine! Very mild tannins and pepper. Blend of cherry and strawberries for a smooth taste. Have a few bottles left and very glad for that!!

You’d never guess this was from Washington. Bright crunchy acid, red and blue fruit, minor olive and smoked meat. Nothing Jammy or overcooked here. This kept unfurling and becoming more complex throughout the evening, and was excellent with food. Very well made.
