Playing the Loire Cab Franc vs Chilean Carmenere game. This is all grilled plum, ancho chili, savory herb and cedar. Maybe a dash of Tabasco. Less abrasively green than I'm used to with this grape.

Upon opening, a meaty barnyard nose on the lower rim. Rich and full, with a silky mouthfeel. Notes of vanilla and plum. One it opened up the wonderful green peppercorn came through.
