Eagles Trace is a Beautifully complex Napa Cab of the upper echelons of the very best premier cru allegedly from the most complex soil in the area ... The northwest sections from which Diamond mountain & Screaming Eagle are born... Big fruit, wonderful leather & mineralogy... Everything of the highest Ilk! The only minor blemish is a hint of mustiness at the tail end, though I was eating a dish containing legumes which may not have the best pairing. Otherwise, this gets a 9.575 rating!
