Another surprising old find from deep in the cellar! The trope that “the fruit won’t outlast the tannins” in wines like this rarely seems to hold for me. Love the subtlety and balance and tertiary complexity of these wines that no one in their right mind would hold this long - my palate thanks me again for being insane.
