La Landonne Côte-Rotie Syrah

Loved this...DEF needed more time to air out. Tart red fruit, smoky campfire, slight grilled meats, whole cluster stinkiness, med plus acid....long finish. Great stuff, mote time in decanter and this is a super star! La La!

Much more acid, freshness, and backbone than the La Mouline

Huge wine but couldn’t meet the high expectations. A little to elegant and not showing the attractive elements of Syrah.

Ruby color. Oak, dark fruit and roasted meat. Still tannic on the palate. Very long finish.

Still young . Doesn't quite have as big of the black pepper notes of the La Mouline but still an amazing wine
