This run of about 13 PHENOMENAL wines I'm posting are from the SQN wine dinner/WNH interview I did at @Shawn R 's house last night. I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas. What an absolutely EPIC night! Love ya brother!
If Shawn wasn't flexing his muscles yet, this is where he really started letting it fly. No big deal here, just a RParker 100 pt wine that was superb. This was my second ermitage Blanc ever and I cry at the fact that I haven't found out about them sooner. The waxy character on this was a great compliment to the balanced fruit and earthy notes. Granny Smith apple and non-toasted bread on the palate, Burt's Beeswax aroma. So delicious.
