Côtes du Rhône White Rhone Blend

Fresh, grapefruit, melon and apple peel. Simple yet quaffable.

White peach, apricot and floral notes. Great value. Rich and balanced.

Floral nose. Floral, pear, light peach,band vanilla flavor. Good with chicken pot pie; complements the spice in the pie gravy. Medium-bodied. Definitely past its prime, but still good. Try younger bottle.

65% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, 10% Marsanne, 8 % Clairette, 2% Bourboulenc. Nicely rounded and fresh but with a lot of nice flavors.

Light yellow. Perfumed nose of white flowers, lemon peel, and crushed gravel. Acid driven on the palate with long, mineral finish. Very nice value selection.

Lilac scent. Dried apple. Apricot. Good aperitif but floral. Rob thinks simple.

Côte du Rhône blanc

I am really disappointed in this wine. I had high hopes as a fan of Viognier to have it from near Condrieu. The nose was what I was expecting, peach, lemon rind, and sunshine. The palate fell way flat. The acidity is medium. The flavor is what I would expect but lacking badly for intensity. I wonder if this was picked just after a rain. I am hoping this is a bad vintage. I will give it another shot.

Peach notes on the nose. Passion fruit, lime, and mineral finish. Great pairing with Miso Halibut

Straight forward and pleasant drinking. Medium body, finishes clean, flavors of citrus grass and slight pepper.
