Nose of rich dark cherries to plums, lots of spice and some earthy and floral. Lots of acidity, fruit just a tad more muted tasting than the nose implies. A bit dusty, and secondary notes just starting.

A little wine a day keeps the COVID away! Notes of cedar and cherry on the nose. Smoke, unripe plum, raw meat. Surprisingly smooth red fruit and dried herb finish. Even with 7 years of cellaring, this bottle is wound pretty tight. Should have decanted,l but since we had already had 3 bottles we didn’t. Needs at least 5 more years IMO
