Château d'Ampuis Côte-Rôtie Syrah

Had some issues with storage on this one, but this is everything your looking for from the vintage/producer, just be attentive of the providence.

Tea leaf, tobacco, and dark fruit on the nose. Blackberry and acaí on the palate with some serious tannins. Probably needs another 7-10 in the bottle.

Aromas of tea leaf, tobacco, and dark fruit. Blackberry, acai, on this structured, rugged palate. Serious tannins on this one- can go another 10 years easily.

Drinking perfectly right now. Smoked game meat, bacon fat, forest floor and light sour cherry. So balanced.

Bright, fresh, perfect balance.

Lovely, almost perfection. Fantastisch nose, beautiful finish.

Took about an hour to show many tertiary flavors. Came out a bit but still kind of simplistic in this regard. Incredible structure!!! Structure singing on the palate start to finish.
