2014 and ready to roll! No decant as recommended by the somm. Toasty coconut and caramel scents on open. Black cherry, dark chocolate, and anise. Just a hint of black olive on the finish. Such a rich wine for so young. Can’t wait to see how this evolves!

Low concentration but, as a result, a surprisingly light and approachable wine which belies its youth. Textbook Côte Rotie nonetheless. Pleasant and easy to pair - in our case with pork ribs.
