Brief notes. Mid Ruby in colour. Aromas of leather, soil and dried dusty cherry. On the palate unmistakably Tuscan Sangiovese with the same savoury descriptors coming through. Medium weight palate with medium plus length. From a quality producer in Fuligni. The Sommelier thought that 2016 in Toscana was even better than 2015.

Strawberries on open. Now that itโ€™s settled it is earthy, dry, and more like red berries. Nice.

One on the best values on a very overpriced wine list #scarpetta LV ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ. Drinking nicely 5 years in. Soft but tannins keep it balanced. A nice indicator for the #brunello from this house.

Good entry level Sangio from a great producer. Simple but tasty. Light-med body, sour cherry type fruit.
