E. Fuligni (Cottimelli)
Ginestreto Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese
Brief notes. Mid Ruby in colour. Aromas of leather, soil and dried dusty cherry. On the palate unmistakably Tuscan Sangiovese with the same savoury descriptors coming through. Medium weight palate with medium plus length. From a quality producer in Fuligni. The Sommelier thought that 2016 in Toscana was even better than 2015.

Jan 1st, 2020Strawberries on open. Now that itโs settled it is earthy, dry, and more like red berries. Nice.

Apr 11th, 2019One on the best values on a very overpriced wine list #scarpetta LV ๐. Drinking nicely 5 years in. Soft but tannins keep it balanced. A nice indicator for the #brunello from this house.
