The vintage is alluring, and the taste profile a great mix of black berry and plum notes along with some rustic nature. Tannins are present yet soft. We waited an hour after decanting.

My first exposure to this producer. Definitely aromatic, and a ton of savory notes of underbrush and mineral in addition to the wild dark red fruit. Not the longest finish, but finessed and balanced in a medium-bodied BdM.

Quite tart in relation to fruit. Medium body and medium plus acidity. Not my style of Brunello, although stunning tipica on the nose.

Came abut short, and was an disappointment compared to the Rosso from the same vineyards. But a full bodied wine which was very good.
