Fully matured and has lost much of the excitement from earlier years. I was a huge fan of this wine in its youth. It still retains a beautiful perfume of sexy cherries and both brown and sweet spices. Yet the finish displays more brown flavors, oak and tiredness.

Quintessential unabashed Dutton Goldfield Pinot. This young (2007) drunk tonight with skirt steak. May still be a bit clumsy trying to lose its baby fat, but give this wine another ten years and you will be sweetly rewarded.

Just a bit too California for my taste. Fruit and acid are not in balance: it's a climate thing.

Dry but almost jammy (in a good way) with strong tomato, blueberry, licorice. Yummy
