It’s been a day: rehearsal, study, performance more study so I deserved to crack this. I gave the 2010 a ten but I was just learning. Also 2014 not as good a get but this still stands up. There’s a reason I’m a member of Dutcher. It (she!) never fails. I taste the 18% Syrah and I’m into it. It brings the pepper n earth. I know I rated the 2013 I wish I had both to compare. The cab is rich and ripe and it’s a smooth one. Acid and alcohol: rather high. Tannins: high but velvety. And damn but this wine is purple thank you Syrah? Anyway it is a fitting reward for a busy, productive and entertaining (creating and absorbing) day. Go team Cali Cab.

Velvety tannins, dark fruit, high acid, long plummy finish. LOVE DUTCHER CROSSING. They make quality stuff that stands over the rest. I need to visit this winery.

The 17% syrah sticks out here, unfortunately it gets in the way of some tasty cabernet. Maybe time will change that.

Too fruity for a cab. Very disappointing

Really great drinking wine. Would be good with good but wouldn’t completely stand up to bigger reds.

Birthday pairing with filet. Perfect complement, big, jammy, not overly oaky, good fruit and balance. The 78% Cab with 22% Syrah is a nice blend.

Dcv in the house! I'm partial to Napa cab but given the vintage and maker I'll give this a solid B. Hold up up to 2 days after being opened with proper ventilation.

Raspberry jam, black currant, and sweet/tart rolling flavors, such a lively wine!

A great wine - full bodied. Bought directly from winery where the staff were friendly and knowledgable.
