Mourvedre dominant Rhone style blend this vintage, and it is excellent. The spice and dried meat notes are strong initially and fade into the round, red sumptuous Grenache gracefully. The Syrah, smallest %, comes on boldly at the end and its tannins are not overpowering but perfectly supple and weighty.

This has got to be my favorite Syrah from Washington! I want more!! Juicy and dark fruit jam with herbs and fresh cracked pepper. Paired PERFECTLY with Chinois Grilled Lamb Chops with a Cilantro Mint Vinaigrette!
