Blend of 86% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah and 2% Carignan, deep Ruby color with purple edges, aromas of berry fruits with pleasant spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and cacao, with notes of cinnamon and spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and oak spice notes.

Wine was a big jammy, fruit bomb. Nose was black cherry and white pepper. Light body and fruit forward with a bit of spice on the finish. Some pepper, vanilla and spice that pulled out the hint of nutmeg in the bolognese. Finish was short and sweet. Sort of feel like it was called Decoy because it was pretending to be something that it is not. Not the best pairing since this one drank a lot more like a merlot. Wine was a little sweeter than I usually like.
