A "cousin" of Sangiovese and it shows! Great with pizza. Smooth, red fruit forward with good length. Medium-light body with good brightness and acidity. Very traditional with not a hint of barrel aging.

Expected more. Medium body, light tannins. Medium finish. Opens with notes of cherry but not overly fruity. No other flavors to notice. No complexity.
